Privacy
Policy.

01  ·  Scope

This policy applies to FW Global Consulting LLC ("FW Global", "we", "us"), a UAE limited-liability company registered in Dubai. It covers personal information collected through fwglobal.ae, our email channels, and the engagement work we deliver to clients.

We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR for clients and individuals based in the European Economic Area.

02  ·  What we collect

• Identity & contact — name, email, phone, company, role, country.
• Engagement information — anything you share when scoping a piece of work, including financial, operational, and personnel data your engagement requires.
• Technical — IP address, browser, device type, page paths. We do not run cross-site tracking pixels.
• Marketing preferences — newsletter subscription state, topic interests.

03  ·  Why we collect it

• To respond to enquiries and deliver the engagements we have agreed.
• To meet our regulatory and professional-standards obligations (KYC, AML, audit working-paper retention).
• To send you the briefings you have explicitly subscribed to.
• To improve our website and service quality, in aggregate.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train external AI systems.

04  ·  Who we share it with

Only with parties that need it to deliver our services, and under written confidentiality:

• Our staff and engagement teams (need-to-know basis).
• Sub-processors providing infrastructure (cloud hosting, email, document storage) — held to contractual data-protection terms. See section 05 for the third-party services embedded directly into this site.
• Regulators, auditors, and courts where we are legally required to.

05  ·  Embedded third-party services

Two third-party services are loaded directly into pages of this website. When you interact with them, the providers process information — including your IP address and certain cookies — under their own privacy terms, as sub-processors acting on our behalf.

• Microsoft Forms (Microsoft Corporation) — hosts the enquiry form on the Contact page. Responses are stored in our Microsoft 365 tenant and used only to reply to your enquiry. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Google Maps (Google LLC) — displays our office location on the Contact page. The map loads only when the Contact page is opened. See the Google Privacy Policy and Maps Additional Terms.

If you would prefer not to load these services, you can submit your enquiry by email to info@fwglobal.ae and find directions to our office on any external mapping service of your choice.

06  ·  How long we keep it

Engagement records: seven years from the close of the engagement, in line with UAE professional and tax-record retention norms. Newsletter and marketing data: until you unsubscribe, plus 18 months for audit. Web analytics: 13 months in aggregate form.

07  ·  Your rights

Under UAE PDPL (and GDPR where it applies), you may:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold on you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete data, subject to our regulatory retention obligations.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
• Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.

Email privacy@fwglobal.ae. We will respond within 30 days.

08  ·  Cookies

FW Global Consulting itself does not set tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies on this site. We store one strictly-necessary first-party item in your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference (light or dark); this never leaves your device. On the UAE Regulatory Universe (the Regulatory Map, city views and Galaxy view) we also set one strictly-necessary first-party cookie, fwg_reg_terms, when you accept the tools' disclaimer. It records only the disclaimer version and the date you accepted, so we do not ask you again; it lasts 12 months, is never used for tracking and is not shared. If you delete it, you will simply be asked to accept again. See the Website Terms of Use. We self-host our fonts, styles and scripts — no Google Fonts, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel.

However, two pages embed third-party services that may set their own cookies when loaded:

• Contact page — Microsoft Forms iframe. Microsoft may set session and authentication cookies on its own domain when you interact with the form.
• Contact page — Google Maps iframe. Google may set cookies on its own domain when the map loads (used for security, preferences, and basic usage measurement).

These cookies are set by Microsoft and Google on their respective domains, not by us, and we have no access to them. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the rest of this site. See section 05 for the underlying privacy terms of each provider.

09  ·  Cross-border transfers

Our infrastructure is primarily in the UAE and the EU. Where we transfer personal data outside these jurisdictions — including via the Microsoft and Google services described in section 05, which may process data in the United States or other locations under their global infrastructure — we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the providers' own adequacy frameworks, or equivalent legal mechanisms.

10  ·  Changes to this policy

We will post changes here with a new effective date. Material changes — anything that broadens how we use your data — will be notified by email to active subscribers and clients.
