/ FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions we hear a lot.

Does my business need to register for UAE Corporate Tax?

Almost certainly. UAE Corporate Tax applies to most businesses and commercial activity, with registration handled through the FTA's EmaraTax portal and a 9% rate on taxable profit above AED 375,000 (0% below). We assess your position, complete the registration, and set up the records and filings you will need for your first return.

Can a Free Zone company still benefit from the 0% Corporate Tax rate?

Sometimes. A Qualifying Free Zone Person can access 0% on qualifying income, but the conditions (qualifying activities, adequate substance, de minimis limits and audited accounts) are strict and easy to fail. We run a qualifying-income review so you know where you actually stand before you file.

When is VAT registration mandatory in the UAE?

Registration is mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 over a 12-month period, with voluntary registration available from AED 187,500. We handle registration, periodic returns, voluntary disclosures and refund claims across the UAE FTA and KSA ZATCA regimes.

What is e-invoicing and does it affect us?

Saudi Arabia already mandates e-invoicing under ZATCA (Fatoora) in phased waves, and the UAE is rolling out its own e-invoicing mandate. We design the process, integrate it with your ERP, and run go-live testing so you are compliant ahead of your wave or start date.

Do we need a statutory audit?

Many UAE mainland and free zone entities require audited financial statements, and audited accounts are increasingly expected for Corporate Tax, banking and Free Zone qualifying status. We provide statutory and voluntary audit support, internal audit, and the clean, well-controlled books auditors expect.
