01 · Acceptance
The FWG Books Review application ("the App") is provided by FW Global. By connecting a QuickBooks Online company to the App, or by using the App, you ("you", "the client") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not connect your account or use the App.
02 · The App and licence
The App is an internal tool used by FW Global's authorized staff to review a client's QuickBooks Online books as part of the firm's accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory services. Subject to these Terms and your engagement with us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App solely in connection with the services we provide to you. The App is not sold or licensed for standalone, public, or independent use.
03 · QuickBooks connection; read-only access
When you authorize the connection, you grant the App read-only access to your QuickBooks Online data via Intuit's Accounting API. The App does not create, modify, or delete any data in your QuickBooks account. Your use of QuickBooks Online remains governed by your agreement with Intuit; the App's access is in addition to, and does not modify, that relationship.
04 · Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App other than in connection with services provided by FW Global;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its data, or its infrastructure;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the App; or
- use the App in violation of applicable law.
05 · Data and privacy
The App's handling of your data is described in our Books Review Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: data is accessed read-only, used only to perform your engagement, protected with encryption and access controls, stored in the EU, and never sold or used for advertising or model training.
06 · Intellectual property
The App, its check logic, report templates, and outputs (other than your own underlying financial data) are the property of FW Global. No rights are granted except as expressly set out here.
07 · Professional-judgment disclaimer
The App's review is an analytical aid that applies automated checks to your books. It is not an audit, assurance engagement, or a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified accountant, and it does not guarantee that your books are complete, accurate, or compliant. Findings should be reviewed by a qualified professional. The scope of any assurance is governed solely by your signed engagement letter with FW Global.
08 · "As is"; limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FW Global will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Any liability arising from the underlying professional services is governed by your engagement letter.
09 · Term, termination, and disconnection
These Terms apply while a QuickBooks connection is active or you use the App. You may disconnect at any time, by asking us, or from within QuickBooks (Apps → Connected apps). On disconnection, the App's access is revoked and the stored token is deleted. We may suspend or terminate access to protect security or comply with law.
10 · Third-party services
The App relies on Intuit's QuickBooks Online API and on the service providers listed in our Books Review Privacy Policy. Your use of QuickBooks Online is subject to Intuit's own terms and privacy policy.
11 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you may have.
12 · Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always available at this URL. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
